We work in partnership with schools in South East Portsmouth to deliver the Extended Schools agenda from a community perspective. All of the schools we work in partnership with are able to improve their service by using community and voluntary sector groups for delivery. The system has been developed through close working between local agencies such as the Police, Social Care, Health and the Local Authority and other organisations, and good communication and consultation with local people.

The South East CIP works alongside neighbourhood forums and community groups to ensure that a wide audience is consulted on the services provided and it enhances collaboration between education and other agencies. Developing extended services through schools has given a focus to developing a multi-agency approach to children's services through closer collaboration between Schools, Social Care, Healthcare Professionals and the Police
